49 Kew has been the official residence of the director of Kew Gardens since 1851. The first two residents, and perhaps the most influential, were directors, Sir William Hooker and his son Sir Joseph Hooker from 1785 – 1911.
The client required a solution that would ensure that the longevity of the building would not be compromised.
Permavent’s patented and unique roofing system Plain Easy provided the waterproofing solution required on such an important historic building.
