Trewithen Dairy, Summer 2013.

A working dairy farm and producer based in Lostwithiel, Cornwall.

A low pitch slate roof.

  • A low roof pitch was necessary due to the build covering a large area (900m2) with long runs.
  • A slate roof covering was required to be in keeping with the design and aesthetics of the site’s current buildings.

Why Permavent Easy Slate was chosen

Easy Slate was chosen to make the roof watertight, as the low roof pitch with long runs meant the water volumes and prevailing winds common to the location had a high risk of water ingress.
